CONFIDENTIALITY OF CUSTOMER RECORDS
Access to an individual's personal information will be provided in accordance with provisions of the Provincial Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and in recognition of the Library's support of the principles outlined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
No personal information regarding an individual is to be given to any agency or individual without a court order or subpoena unless otherwise specified under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. All such requests must be referred to the Chief Executive Officer.

Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rules of law:

1. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in its subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.

b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of press and other media of communication
