POLICY ADMINISTRATION POLICY

    1. Policies will be approved by the Fraser Valley Regional District Library Board and will provide a reference work for board members, staff and the public, which documents policy for the conduct of all library business.
    2. Policies will be developed through Board direction, relevant legislation or administrative methods.
    3. Policy will be submitted to the Library Board at their inaugural meeting for ratification.
  1. Procedures will be developed and approved by administration to carry out the intent of the policy; regular review and revision will take place; all policies and procedures will be recorded in a standard format, assembled in manuals and indexed.
