Community Description

Yale was the first town to be incorporated in mainland British Columbia and also features St. John the Divine Church, believed to be the oldest church in the province. Yale retains much of its past as a gold rush boomtown, with monuments and buildings, such as the Yale Museum.

Mount Lehman Library is currently experiencing connectivity issues. Local customers may notice delays in updates to their account information.

Ladner Pioneer Library Parking: Due to ongoing construction on 47th Avenue, customers may experience difficulties accessing the library parking lot and may need to find street parking. However, during the construction the library is open its regular open hours and programs will be happening as scheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Terry Fox Library Parking: Construction of the new Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre has started. The library will remain open through the entire project, however there will be major disruptions to parking. Please see the Recreation Centre Project Page for more information.
