Why I Love "Trashy" Books
I have a bit of a controversial opinion: I love reading so-called “trashy” novels. For as long as I can remember, I’ve read primarily for escapism. Cancer can affect anyone. About half of British Columbians will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and it’s the leading cause of death in our province. The good news is that mortality rates have steadily decreased over the last 20 years.
