Keep an eye on your library account dashboard, and when we respond, you'll discover your suggestion under the "Suggested this month" button. In the meantime, its status will be "Under Review." If the suggestion is approved and purchased it will appear in the catalogue in a few weeks.
Suggestion Guidelines
- Please search the catalogue first to check that it is not in our collection
- Titles are available for purchase – we can’t buy titles that aren’t available to the general public
- Recently published titles and not “forthcoming” – we automatically add new titles by many popular authors
- Maximum of one monthly suggestion per person
We are unable to add every item that is suggested for purchase. Some reasons that we may not add an item to the collection:
- FVRL prioritizes purchasing based on availability, currency and popularity
- FVRL aims to collect new, current titles of interest
- Academic specialty titles or textbooks are not included
- FVRL's select vendors may not be able to source the titles
- Specialized or independent publications are often unavailable
- Older or out-of-print publications*
