Are you a movie lover, audiobook enthusiast or someone looking for a new way to enjoy multimedia on the go? The Fraser Valley Regional Library Playground has you covered with our new Portable Blu-ray Players — now available to borrow!

Entertainment and Convenience — On the Go!

No internet, no streaming, no TV, or heading on a road trip? FVRL's Portable Blu-ray Players are a great option when you're off the grid or without Wi-Fi. With an 11.4" built-in screen and up to three hours of playback on a full charge, this player can go anywhere you go.

Have a large collection of DVDs, CDs, Blu-ray discs at home, but no player anymore? This new lending initiative makes it easier than ever to watch DVDs and Blu-rays. You can even listen to audiobooks or music — on the move or at home.

Nothing to watch or listen to? FVRL can help with our expansive collection of Blu-ray, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks — free to borrow with your library card.

Why Borrow a Portable Blu-ray Player?

Not everyone has access to a Blu-ray or DVD player at home, and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy media from our extensive library collection.

Whether you’re revisiting classic movies, watching educational content or simply enjoying a good audiobook, this program helps make multimedia more accessible to everyone in our community.

What Can the Portable Blu-ray Players Do?

Each player is designed to be portable and easy to use. You can:

  • watch DVDs and Blu-ray discs
  • listen to CDs and audiobooks
  • play media from USB drives and SD cards
  • connect to a TV via HDMI for a larger screen experience
  • use Bluetooth wireless headphones or speakers
