Read aloud to therapy dogs!
Children can spend 15 minutes reading to a St. John Ambulance–certified therapy dog. Reading to a calm, four-legged friend can help build confidence and boost self-esteem in young readers.
St. John Ambulance (SJA) Child Certified Therapy Dogs are specially trained to work with children and are the perfect companions for kids who want a friendly listener.
This program is best suited for children ages 6 to 10.
